After a fifteen year career in mortgage finance including 6 year stints with Fannie Mae and a regional bank, Mike obtained his license and started selling real estate full time with Amy in 1994. Shortly thereafter, Mike and Amy formed King Builders, Inc. and Mike began building custom homes and remodeling residential properties for resale. A lifelong resident of Montgomery County, MD, Amy King graduated from University of Maryland-College Park and has been a licensed Realtor since 1986. She worked with several brokerages prior to convincing Mike to join her in 1994. They teamed up for 14 successful years working for ReMax prior to starting King Real Estate in 2008. Amy’s specialty is preparing homes for the market and offers clear advice regarding updates necessary to maximize return for sellers. Sam King grew up watching his parents operate a real estate business and understands the value of customer service. After receiving an Associates Degree in Business Administration from Montgomery College, Sam moved to Portland, Oregon where he worked at Nike Headquarters. He returned home to Silver Spring, MD to join the family business and obtained his real estate license in late 2020. Coming into the industry hungry and ready to work tirelessly for his clients, Sam offers representation for selling, buying, renting, and managing properties. He strives to provide his clients with fairness and honesty while bringing youthful energy to the company.
Originally from Remington, VA, a small town on the Rappahannock River in Fauquier County, David graduated from Catawba College. David won numerous awards in football during his high school and college years - illustrating his dedication to hard work. He moved to Montgomery County in 1989 and after working with Amy on two purchase transactions, became interested in real estate. David obtained his real estate license in 2008 and joined King Real Estate. He offers representation for customers selling, buying or renting. David guides his clients through the process with a calming presence, solid negotiating skills and his knowledge of the local real estate market.
